Little League International and Baseball Factory announce Inaugural Little League Experience
Williamsport, PA – Baseball Factory and Little League International are proud to announce the first Little League Experience, powered by Baseball Factory, to take place at the Little League International complex in South Williamsport, Pa., May 29-31, 2010.
The Little League Experience is the first of several 2010 Baseball Factory and Little League Baseball player development events. The camp will provide players with the opportunity to train and improve their skills, while offering a fun learning environment that includes games at Howard J. Lamade and Volunteer Stadiums, the same fields where the annual Little League Baseball World Series is played.
All players (league-age 11-12) are invited to attend the inaugural event, which will be limited to the first 96 players that register. The event will include instruction and training on various aspects of the game as well as tournament play.

“The Baseball Factory’s Little League Experience will provide an enriching activity and one that we feel will benefit Little Leaguers for years to come,” Stephen D. Keener, Little League International President and Chief Executive Officer, said. “Since establishing a relationship with the Baseball Factory, making it the official player development partner of Little League, the means to develop and better the skills of players, while keeping the focus on having fun has become a wonderful asset to our program. Add to that this new opportunity for players to come to Little League International and have time on the same fields where the Little League World Series is played make the weekend both exciting and memorable.”
For three days players will be treated to an experience of a lifetime – training and playing games at the home of the Little League Baseball World Series. Players will be divided into teams and instructed on all aspects of the game including hitting, fielding, and pitching, catching and base running. In addition to instruction, players will play a minimum of three games, including one night game under the lights in the stadiums.
“Playing games at Lamade or Volunteer Stadiums is an experience any young baseball player would be privileged to have,” Steve Sclafani, Baseball Factory Chief Executive Officer and Founder, said. “We are excited to launch the Little League Experience, powered by Baseball Factory. This event will give players high-level training, plus the opportunity to compete in game play on the same fields where the Little League World Series takes place.”
Baseball Factory and Little League International established its strategic partnership in March 2009. This relationship provides youth players with increased player development and college placement opportunities. Little League International and Baseball Factory expect to hold several more fun and skills-rich training camps across throughout the United States. Baseball Factory is the official and exclusive Player Development Partner of Little League International.
